=== Frequently Asked Questions ===
What is the Amazon title character limit in 2026?
From July 27, 2026 Amazon limits product titles to 75 characters in every category except media, down from 200. Titles longer than the limit are not rejected — Amazon rewrites them using its own AI, so the seller loses control of the highest-weighted SEO field on the listing.
What characters are banned in Amazon titles?
Amazon disallows ! $ ? _ { } ^ ¬ and ¦ in product titles, along with emoji. This has been enforced since January 21, 2025.
How many times can I repeat a word in an Amazon title?
A word may appear at most twice in a title. Articles, prepositions and conjunctions such as "a", "the", "for" and "and" are exempt. Repeating a keyword three or more times is a common cause of print-on-demand titles being flagged.
Does this tool store my titles?
No. The checker runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server, and no titles are logged or stored.
